Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer
History
In
1999, the UK puckered up for the first Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer
campaign, spearheaded by the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade together
with its charity partner Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Winner of several prestigious awards, Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer
1999 raised over £664,000 from sales of limited edition Avon
products, and called on the Government to match £ for £
the money spent by charities on breast cancer research each year
- we were delighted when this funding was later announced by the
Prime Minister.
Supported by celebrities, MPs and the public alike, an incredible
667,000 people signed the petition delivered to Downing Street -
plus a Guinness World Record was established for the largest collection
of kiss prints!
